Gabby Douglas was born on December 31, 1995, and is a well-known American artistic gymnast. She earned the Olympic all-around title in 2012 and the World all-around silver medal in 2015. She had the privilege to be a member of gold-winning teams in both the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. Similarly, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams at the World Championships in 2011 and 2015.
She is also the first African American to win the Olympic individual all-around title, as well as the first American gymnast to win gold in both the individual all-around and team disciplines at the same Olympics.
Aside from that, she adapted her life story for the Lifetime biopic film The Gabby Douglas Story in 2014.
