Gabriel Basso, born Louis Gabriel Basso III, is a 28-year-old American actor who began his career as a child actor in the 2007 film Meet Bill, where he played an unnamed role of a cancer-stricken child.
However, he rose to prominence as Adam Jamison in the 2010 comedy-drama series The Big C. Basso is also known for his roles as Martin Read in Super 8 (2011), Patrick Keenan in The Kings of Summer (2013), Gooch in Barely Lethal (2015), Jimmy Petersen in American Wrestler: The Wizard (2016), and J. D. Vance in Hillbilly Elegy 2020.
The actor has appeared in a number of well-known films, including Alice Upside Down, The Whole Truth, Alabama Moon, The Hive, Ithaca, and Anatomy of the Tide, in addition to Alice Upside Down.
