Who is Gavin Bazunu?
Gavin Bazunu was born on February 20, 2002 in Dublin, Ireland. Gavin Bazunu grew raised in Dublin’s Firhouse neighborhood. Bazunu spent his entire youth playing football because his father was a passionate football lover. He was also an astute student.
Gavin Bazunu made his Shamrock Rovers debut when he was 12 years old. He became the team’s youngest player in history. Playing men’s football at such a young age was a great task for a youngster, but Bazunu feels it was worth it. He is now recognized as one of Ireland’s best goalkeepers.

Gavin Bazunu is an established goalkeeper despite his young. His outstanding abilities have been acknowledged by both his club and his country. In June and July of this year, he was named player of the month.
He has represented Ireland and is set to make his debut against Scotland in March. He has also been chosen to play in the 2020 World Cup qualifiers against Scotland and Russia. Gavin Bazunu signed a deal with Manchester City in February 2019. He was then given a new contract, which he declined.
