Michael’s marital life is more like a coke recipe than the open book that many celebrities’ lives resemble. The master of disguise has avoided discussing his personal life, including his marriage, in public. Since 2005, the openly gay magician has been dating actor Peter Stickles. After marrying his lover Peter in 2014, Michael made their relationship official.
Because he thinks being homosexual or married has nothing to do with his shows and performances, the actor chooses not to publicly display his connection with his husband on social media. In November 2017, the charming magician gave a rare insight into his relationship. Speaking to the Orlando Sentinal, Michael said he was loving his marriage to the fullest and said that the partners were considerate of one another. He declared:
“Marriage is fantastic. We truly complement each other well. Michael first met in New York. We have been dating for 12 years”.
Furthermore, in January 2018, the Not Another Gay Movie star identified Peter as his handsome husband in a public tweet. One astute viewer recognized Peter as the man who had featured in the first episode of the second season of Michael Varrati’s show The Carbonaro Effect when he was revealed as the guest on the chat show Dead For Filth.
Michale duly responded to the fan’s question by replying “Yes,” and he even added that Peter was his handsome husband. But recently, Michale has begun sharing photos on social media of himself with his true love. It appears that he is now prepared for his love life to be publicized on his social media.
Both men are pictured with their arms around each other in the image. To top it off, he also shared a selfie of them shopping with Peter in the background. Through the caption, Michale poked fun at Peter. Additionally, based on their most recent post, the couple also visited Scare LA during their little romantic horror break.

Growing up gay and never coming out
Michael was queer since he was a little child. He didn’t like the label “gay,” though. The term “gay” connoted perversion, horror, horribleness, and weirdness to him. The magician was constantly thinking, “Oh, I’m not that, but I like guys, so I must be something else.”
In his younger years, Michael harbored feelings for the E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial character Elliot. He had a sizable Elliot poster in his room, on which he had scrawled the words I Love Elliot and concealed it so that no one else could see it. The magician was skilled at disguising from a young age, but his sexuality was something he did not conceal.
He kept the spectators aware of his personal life by spreading tales about his wife and lover, despite the fact that magic is all about deception and illusions. The magician did acknowledge, though, that he did not always speak openly about his sexuality out of concern for being hurt or offended. The artist struggled with the censoring because he insisted on being authentic and exposing who he was.
Rumors
In April 2016, Michael was accused of staging his program with professional performers and many cameras to deceive the audience. In Q&A forums, Quora, and Reddit, speculation about Michael having a twin to assist with his magic tricks began to spread. Despite the fact that Michael was the third child born to his parents, following his two elder siblings, he does not appear much alike.
Michael, however, put an end to all of those questions by sharing unedited videos of one of his stunts, assuring the viewers that everything he performed was genuine and used real individuals, not actors.
And even after the slight hiccup, his show The Carbonaro Effect continues to dazzle viewers with the almost miraculous feats he pulls off. And to make matters worse, Michael recently finished his tour at the beginning of July 2018. There have been no updates on his forthcoming tours since the gigs for 2018 started on January 20.
