Corrigan, a 2005 university graduate, got four gymnastics letters between 2002 and 2005. He was named All-American on the parallel bars in 2005 and was named team captain in 2004-05. Corrigan trained at the United States Olympic Training Center after graduating from Michigan, where he was coached by former world champion Vitaly Marinich.

Corrigan attended William J. Palmer High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Michigan. Corrigan was a vital part of the University of Michigan’s Men’s Gymnastics Team’s success throughout his 11-year tenure as an Assistant Coach.
His contributions were vital to Michigan’s consecutive NCAA and Big Ten titles, earning him the prestigious 2013-14 CGA Regional Assistant Coach of the Year accolades. In his first year with the Wolverines, Corrigan helped them win their fourth NCAA team championship, the second under Kurt Golder and the first since 1999. Corrigan has worked for a variety of firms in addition to his coaching career:
