On February 3 in a Tennessee court, Geoffrey Paschel, the former star of 90 Days Fiance, was given an 18-year prison term with no possibility of parole.

Since October 2021, the 44-year-old has been detained by police on charges of aggravated kidnapping, domestic violence, and tampering with emergency calls. Prosecutors claimed that Paschel should be classified as a Range-II Offender during sentencing because of his prior drug convictions and the proof of his physical injury to Wilson and his ex-wife.
According to US Weekly, Paschel was found for a number of charges stemming from an encounter with his ex-fiancée Kristen Wilson on June 9, 2019. Wilson reported that Paschel had attacked her, seized her neck, and repeatedly banged her head against a wall to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies. Wilson told the authorities that Paschel had pulled her over her body after tossing it to the ground.

Wilson was diagnosed with a concussion after police observed bruises on her lips, back, arms, and forehead following the assault.
Wilson told the police that Paschel refused to give her her phone and wouldn’t let her leave the house when the event happened. After he went to sleep, she was able to leave and call the police on a neighbor’s phone.
The District Attorney General’s Office informed WBIR that during Paschel’s criminal trial in Knox County Criminal Court in October, Paschel claimed that Wilson hurt herself.
Officials said that the hearing was over two days later. In a film played during the trial, Paschel requested that individuals bring his children to Wilson’s house to persuade her to beg the judge to be sympathetic to him while he was incarcerated.
