The 33-year-old rapper GI Joe OMG has passed away. His spokeswoman, Rebecca Kinchen, announced the information. His clothing business and label, On My Grind, were well-known.

K Deuce, a close friend, and business partner of the rapper, expressed his sympathy and said that the South Central Los Angeles resident was a great friend, parent, artist, and role model for many people. He continued:

GI Joe OMG was a rap artist on the rise. His record label, On My Grind Entertainment, released his most recent album. The same-named apparel line owned by OMG just introduced new designs that are now marketed for sale. OMG, whose real name is Brandon Joseph, was well-known for his partnerships with J Stone and Nipsey Hussle. Hussle and Joseph were close buddies and shared a similar upbringing. They worked together on the album Mailbox Money in 2018.
Due to his previous legal troubles, Joseph started writing and performing songs for prisoners. He wanted to carry on with his musical career after he was released. His lyrics, which draw inspiration from hip-hop greats like Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls from the 1990s, blend jazz, R&B, and hip-hop in his songs.
