One of his openest relationships to date, theirs has been one of his most frequently discussed. And the reason for that is that their romance was intriguing.
She made several significant changes in his life. She did two things that surely weren’t simple in the 1980s: she altered his professional path and she exhausted him in bed.

Jones had just begun what would be her breakthrough years in acting and singing when Lundgren first met her, and she was already a well-known figure in the music industry. She initially caught sight of him in Australia.
While serving as a bouncer in a nightclub in 1983, Jones noticed him across the room. Lundgren was the 1980 and 1981 European karate champion and held a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney; he also worked as a bouncer to make ends meet.
He was then employed to serve as her bodyguard. She was supposed to travel to Boston after spending time in Australia. Unexpectedly, he was also traveling there that year since he had to take a Fulbright Scholarship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He didn’t spend much time in Massachusetts once they returned together. Instead, he accompanied her to New York, and the two of them soon started dating.
She introduced him to her world of naughty multiple-partner sex at that point. Lundgren acknowledged taking part in numerous orgies while dating her in an interview with The Sun in 2018.
Participating in threesomes and even fivesomes “happened on occasion, with or without Grace” was something he did.
He noted that on occasion, “she would bring a girlfriend home, and then I’d have to wake up for work the next day, and stuff like that.” At most, there may have been four or five girls, in my opinion.
He would be worn out the following day from those actions. And those following days were significant for Lundgren due to Jones.
The Career Path of Dolph Lundgren Was Modified by Grace Jones
Lundgren had a predetermined career path because his parents were both brilliant intellectual prodigies. Jones, though, had other plans.
Lundgren met many A-listers through her after he started dating her and moved to New York, including Michael Jackson and David Bowie. He began to blend into the Hollywood world and started attending events frequently.
Jones also advised him to consider acting. He achieved just that, appearing in a minor role in the 1985 James Bond film A View To A Kill.
Although his father disapproved of the decision, he didn’t think he would be happy working as a chemical engineer either. He continued to try, so. He was attempting acting and modeling jobs while also working as a bouncer at night.
A month after his debut in the Bond film, he was cast alongside Sylvester Stallone in Rocky IV as Ivan Drago, a demanding role to be sure.
After the movie, his life changed so drastically that it ruined his relationship with Jones.
Lundgren remembered the night he attended the Rocky IV premiere: “I genuinely walked in the theater as her lover with people attempting to shoo me out of the way to take pictures of her.” And when I left 90 minutes later, they were attempting to take pictures of me instead.
This is where the tiresome group sex reappears. Although their relationship didn’t last long, the orgies persisted throughout that time as well.
“It’s great in principle, but it’s not so great when you have to get up and fight Sylvester Stallone in the morning,” he added.
His popularity soared when the movie came out, with the ladies and the media. Lundgren claimed that Jones was unable to manage them and that “after six months, the relationship was finished.”
Although Lundgren and Jones’ relationship is currently engaged, it is still the most talked-about to date.
