He was always interested in music and began taking piano lessons when he was eight years old. He eventually learned to play the organ and saxophone. During his adolescence, he was a member of various rock bands.
In terms of schooling, he attended Sayreville War Memorial High School, where he graduated in 1971. In 2007, he was recognized in the school’s Alumni Hall of Fame for his contributions to the arts.

From 1994 to 1996, he appeared in the TV series “TekWar,” which lasted two seasons. He was a cast member on the soap opera “Pacific Palisades” in 1997. Four years later, in 2001, he starred in “Spirit,” a psychological thriller film. In 2004, he starred in the family film “Arizona Summer.”
