The 18-year-old Lapsus$ hacker, who played a key role in the disclosure of Grand Theft Auto VI film, has been sentenced to life in a medical detention facility, according to a BBC report.
A British court ruled on Thursday that Arion Kurtaj’s continuous urge to conduct cybercrime makes him a major danger to public safety.

Kurtaj, a native of Oxford and part of the Lapsus$ hacking group, posted the videos and source code on a forum.
He will spend the rest of his life in a secure institution unless his physicians conclude he poses no danger, Southwark Crown Court heard on Thursday.
In light of this, parents are encouraged by City of London police to keep an eye on their children’s internet activity.
According to many testimonies of injuries and property damage submitted to the court, Kurtaj had been aggressive while in custody. Doctors concluded he was not fit to face trial because of his severe autism.
