Gypsy Satterly, a 25-year-old, was one of the three fatalities in a terrible collision that happened on Friday, July 21, 2023, close to Federal, north of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Rafferty Rolfe, the boyfriend of Gypsy Satterley, was allegedly pursuing a Nissan Navara that was heading north when he stole an Isuzu MU-X.
Gypsy was in the car with a man, 65 years old, whose identity is still unknown.
Authorities claim that Rolfe rammed the Nissan into the path of a Great Wall ute driven by 38-year-old Jessica Townley who was standing on the other side of the junction.
Rolfe is the lone survivor; Satterley, Ms. Townley, and the 65-year-old man have all died.
Sunshine Satterley, Gypsy Satterley’s sister, showed her affection for the mother of two young children on Sunday.
Gypsy’s journey was arduous due to several obstacles, challenges, and hardships in life, according to her distraught sister.
Sunshine went on, “But she never gave up; she fought for a better future every day.” The victim’s sibling claimed that despite all of the difficulties, she was cheerful, joyful, and loving and that she was almost there.
Additionally, a GoFundMe page has been established to raise money for Ms. Satterley’s daughters’ expenses to assist her.

The man who stopped to help Gypsy will always be remembered, according to her devastated family. In their opinion, he was a hero and deserving of a medal, they said.
