Haley Harrison is leaving KMBC. Through her tweet, she announced the news.
One more! This is my last newscast at 9 o’clock on @kmbc. It has been a privilege, Kansas City. Thank you,” she stated in the December 3 tweet.
In the comments area, her admirers, fans, and coworkers wished her farewell and expressed their condolences and best wishes for her and her family.
Haley did not, however, say where she was going next. “As soon as I’m prepared to declare, I’ll make updates. Thank you,” she said in response to a reader who inquired where she would land next.
Before her final broadcast on the channel, she had already begun publishing countdowns. She posted an announcement on Facebook.
She wrote, “My last newscast at KMBC 9 will be on Friday, December 2.” Haley used the occasion to express gratitude to Kansas City.
She also emphasized how difficult it was to leave her workplace for the previous ten years.
“Sad goodbyes may also pave the way for optimistic, fresh starts. She invited the audience to follow her journey as she showed some images from her time at KMBC.
