On March 10, a new Hallmark film titled The Presence of Love will premiere on the Movies and Mystery Network. It is an English romantic comedy that was filmed in Cornwall.
In this film, adjunct lecturer Jocelyn “Joss” Lambert receives a gift from her late mother. Joss and her mother had wanted to take a 10-day trip to England while her mother was still alive.
When she travels to England to explore her ancestry, Joss meets Daniel, the owner of the home where her mother grew up. As Joss uncovers a connection to her family’s past, Daniel and Joss’ friendship grows deeper over the course of the story.
The official Hallmark movie synopsis is as follows:
“Adjunct professor Joss visits the farm in England where her late mother grew up and befriends single-father Daniel, whose family now operates it.”
Introducing the cast and crew
1) Eloise Mumford portraying Joss
Eloise Mumford is an actress from Washington who studied and graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2009. A year after graduating, she landed the lead role in the television series Lone Star, in which she portrayed Lindsay Holloway.
Mumford is also known for portraying Dakota Johnson’s best friend in each episode of Fifty Shades of Grey.
She has also appeared in The Right Stuff, Chicago Fire, One December Night, The Baker’s Son, The River, and Reckless. She plays Jocelyn “Joss” Lambert, an adjunct professor of romantic literature, in the upcoming Hallmark film.
2) Julian Morris performs the role of Daniel
Julian Morris is a well-known television actor, having starred in critically acclaimed series including Man in an Orange Shirt, Hand of God, Pretty Little Liars, and Little Women.
His other credits include New Girl, A Royal Queens Christmas, The Morning Show, and Once Upon a Time.
In this film, Morris will play a single parent with a dyslexic daughter, who will be portrayed by Amy Sharp, a child actress making her acting debut. In Hallmark’s The Presence of Love, he will play Daniel. Tegan is her character’s name.
3) Amanda Blake portraying Gwen
Amanda Blake portrays Gwen in the latest romance drama from Hallmark. The actress has only a few productions under her belt at this point in her entertainment industry career. She has appeared in the films Avenue 5, The Batman, Partially Rotten, and Her Pen Pal.
Her character Gwen in the film The Presence of Love is Joss’ acquaintance who receives a surprise gift from the latter’s mother.
