The Suwon District Court accused Han Seo Hee of abusing psychotropic drugs in her prior case while on probation. She was already facing drug charges when she was detained in 2016 for marijuana use.

For the same offense, she received a four-year probationary term. Following the ruling in November 2021, when she was detained for being a flight risk, the former trainee was also observed cursing in front of the court.
The notorious K-pop trainee received a one-year, six-month prison term for drug-related offenses. When she was accused of taking psychoactive substances like methamphetamine and amphetamine, she was already on probation.
Han Seo Hee was accused of purchasing marijuana four times and smoking it seven times in her home in Jung-gu, Seoul, in 2016. In 2017, she was given a three-year prison term with a four-year suspension, an 870,000 won fine, four years of probation, and 120 hours of drug rehab. During her probationary period in July of last year, she tested positive for psychotropic medications and was detained at the probation office.
She was given a hair test at the National Forensics Institute after claiming there was an error in the urine test at the time. She was allowed to keep her probation because the hair test came back negative. However, the prosecution then accused Han Seo Hee of possessing methamphetamine.
She entered a not-guilty plea, arguing that the test findings were invalid because her cup had fallen into the bathroom during it.
Following the ruling, the judge in Han Seo Hee’s case stated that her accusations were unfounded because, by test results from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation, there were more than 300 nanograms of methamphetamine in the cup.
It’s unlikely that the water supply has an amphetamine level high enough to affect Han Seo Hee’s test results.
The claim that her test results had been mixed with those of other people could not be accepted, according to Judge Kim, because she was the only woman present when the pee test was conducted.
The Suwon District Court decision, which the Supreme Court upheld, reads as follows:
“The defendant continues to make irrational statements and refuses to consider the illegality of her behavior.”

The Supreme Court’s decision to put the former trainee in prison for the crimes he committed was praised by the public. By spreading rumors about numerous K-pop stars, she has also angered K-pop fans. In the K-pop music industry, Han Seo-hee has a turbulent past.
She was one of the most promising K-pop trainees when she first joined JYP Entertainment, however, she later left for an unidentified cause. She wasn’t able to make her debut with G-Friend, as she was also meant to. Before allegedly signing with YG Entertainment, Han was also in the news for leaving several agencies due to personal reasons and failing to make her debut with the K-pop girl group Gugudan.
The K-pop business was then rocked by a succession of feuds and scandals that involved her, giving her legendary notoriety. She was imprisoned for smoking marijuana alongside BIGBANG’s T.O.P., and she also played a part in the drug scandal involving IKON’s B.I. The former trainee has caused controversy over the years by disseminating rumors about K-pop singers, the majority of which have turned out to be false.
