Hassan Rouhani was born on November 12, 1948, into a pious Persian family in Sorkheh, close to Semnan, Iran. He was born in 1977 at the age of 72 and is a Scorpio. He is Muslim and of Iranian descent. His real name is Hassan Fereydoun. Later, Hassan changed his last name to Rouhani, which means “community of clerics.”

In 1973, Hassan Rouhani enlisted in Nishapur. In 1977, he left Iran for Paris. He joined the campaign of Ruhollah Khomeini and spoke with Iranian student organizations in Europe.
