Lisa Wishart, a well-known member of the Scottish hospitality staff, passed away from a disease.
The daughter of former Celtic player Harry Hood, Ms. Wishart is the managing director of Lisini Pub Company, which owns renowned institutions including Angels in Uddingston, Dalziel Park in Motherwell, The Parkville in Blantyre, and The Croft in Glasgow.
Ms. Wishart, 57, died in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a lengthy illness, according to a statement Lisini posted on LinkedIn. Her family was at her side. She had a brain hemorrhage in December 2021.
According to Lisini, Lisa was enthusiastic about hospitality, her group, and her customers. Over the years, she became a prominent industry voice, speaking out on crucial topics like rates and immigration during the epidemic.
She was a supporter of the industry and a founder member of the Scottish Hospitality Group. Additionally, she has held a directorship with the registered trade charity The Ben.

While Lisa’s father was successful in football, Lisa stayed to hockey and played for Scotland. After being forced to stop PE due to a knee injury, she joined the family firm in 1992 as Manager of Angels before rising to the position of Managing Director.
