Heather Gray, an American producer, died at the age of 50, according to an official announcement released by CBS. Gray was an Emmy-winning executive producer for CBS’s The Talk. CBS announced her death on July 30 in Los Angeles from an “unforgiving disease,” without naming it or providing any details. Heather Gray joined The Talk as a senior supervising producer in the middle of season one in 2010, when the show first aired. The next season, she was promoted to co-executive producer, and subsequently to executive producer in August 2019.

Gray received two Daytime Emmy Awards in 2016 and 2018 for outstanding entertainment discussion show for her work on The Talk. She also earned an NAACP Image Award in 2016.
