Professional Career
AS Nancy’s right-back is Helder. When he joined Juventude in 2008, he started his senior career. Before Nancy’s scouts became aware of the talented footballer, Ferreira had been there for an entire year and a half.
In 2008, Helder moved to Nancy and agreed to a five-year deal with the team. After failing to establish himself as a regular in the first team, Ferreira spent the 2009–10 season on loan at Rapid Bucureşti, making 28 appearances and scoring two goals.
The soccer player also had a brief time on loan with Dinamo Bucureşti in 2010. Later, Politehnica Timişoara received a loan from Helder, who played in 22 games and scored one goal for them in the 2010–11 campaign.
After multiple loan stints with Romanian clubs, Helder Ferreira made his way back to AS Nancy in 2011. In 26 games for the team between 2008 and 2012, he made an appearance. In 2013, he was loaned to the Brazilian team International.
