He also began his career at Tottenham Hotspur, where he was a member of the youth squad until he was 15 years old, when he moved to West Ham United. In 1965-66, he played seven games for West Ham, scoring one goal.

On December 3, 1966, he made his first start of the 1966-67 season against West Bromwich Albion, scoring his second goal for the club. From 1976 to 1979, Harry worked as a player-assistant manager for the NASL’s Seattle Sounders, where he was coached by Jimmy Gabriel.
