The eagerly awaited new Kardashian reality series will debut on the Disney-owned streaming site Hulu the following week. The Kardashians decided to stop their former show Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2021 after 20 seasons before agreeing to a new contract with Hulu.
With behind-the-scenes access to the lifestyles of Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, Kylie, and Kris, it promises to be more open-minded than ever.
According to Deadline, the official synopsis of the program is as follows: “Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie bring the cameras back to reveal the truth behind the headlines.”
According to the description, “this series takes viewers into the fold with an honest story of love and life in the spotlight, from the severe responsibilities of running billion-dollar corporations to the funny joys of playtime and school drop-offs.”
One of the family’s most lucrative contracts ever was the new program, but how much did they pay? Thankfully, Variety has all the information.
The Kardashians were paid how much?
In advance of their upcoming program, the Kardashians completed a cover shot and accompanying interview for Variety in March.
Insiders claim that their reality show salary is “worth nine figures,” as reported by Variety. Thus, they are each receiving at least $100 million for the new Hulu program. Everyone in the family would receive the same salary, Khloé said in a statement to Variety, adding, “We are all equals.”
Khloé went on to discuss the financial details of the contract with Variety, claiming that they “certainly played a factor” because she and her co-stars “put so much of our personal lives up for entertainment.”
“My sisters and I are quite ruthless about what we would or will not settle for,” says the family. “We always have our secret family chats.”
Money is not always a wonderful thing, though. Hulu was precisely the perfect fit for us, she continued, “and it needs to be a good fit. The exorbitant compensation was “very much merited,” said Dana Walden, Chairman of Entertainment at Walt Disney Television, in an interview with Variety.
“We went above and beyond what they deserved,” The Kardashians are the ideal family to have on your unscripted schedule. They represent our approach of taking calculated risks while betting on exceptional talent and chances that are best in their respective genres.
Fans may watch the Kardashians where?
On Thursday, April 14th, Hulu will have the premiere of the new show for US audiences. The family hasn’t said if all of the episodes would be released at once or once a week.
The Kardashians will be available on Disney+ starting on April 14 even though Hulu is unavailable in the UK. This indicates that, unlike with Keeping Up With The Kardashians, there won’t be a delay for viewers from other countries.
