As a rapper, Berner has released roughly 40 albums, all of which peaked at number one on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. As the owner of Cookies, he is well-known in the California-based cannabis trade.
He started a cannabis club at the age of 18 and ran it until he was 25 after meeting Wiz Khalifa. He was also added to the Taylor Gang by Khalifa. In San Francisco, he then founded Cookies, a clothes and lifestyle store selling products including odor-resistant backpacks, duffel bags, and lunch bags.
He is also connected to the Cookie Family, a team of marijuana geneticists known for strains like Girl Scout Cookies and Sunset Sherbet that are well-liked in California. He also appeared on the cover of Forbes Magazine in August of this year.
Despite enrolling in the Galileo Academy of Science and Technology, Berner, who was born on October 27, 1983, withdrew. His father was a cook at a Mexican restaurant on Fillmore Street, while his mother worked in an office. His family moved to Arizona when he was 13 years old, and in high school he started rapping in combat.
