Dany Levy, an actress from Schitt’s Creek, will host The Big Brunch, HBO’s next culinary series. Levy, who also developed the show, has a $14 million fortune as a result of his prosperous acting career.
The Emmy-winning actor admitted in a recent interview with Humans magazine that while he was initially dubious about his new cookery program, it ultimately “restored my belief in humans.”
On November 10th, The Big Brunch will premiere with three episodes. Ten chefs who will not only share their cuisine with the world but also their experiences will appear in the eight-episode unscripted series. Participants in the brunch-themed competition will prepare a range of dishes, courses, and drinks to win a $300,000 grand prize.
Actor, comedian, screenwriter, and television producer Dan Levy, 39, is a Toronto native and a graduate of North Toronto Collegiate Institute. Levy’s $14 million net worth, according to Celebrity Net Worth, is a result of his successful entertainment career.

The LGBTQIA+ community’s host of The Big Brunch came out as gay when he was 18 years old. However, he spent many years refusing to talk about his sexuality in public. When Levy openly came out in an interview with Andy Cohen in 2020, this changed.
Being a part of the “unscripted environment” was challenging for Dan Levy in The Big Brunch since it was so dissimilar from his time on Schitt’s Creek, he admitted to PEOPLE. He declared:
“Well, was this the right choice? At one time, I questioned. Is this the appropriate path for me? Because this absurd industry tends to cause you to question your instincts.
He told the newspaper that the personalities of the candidates helped him change his perspective and get past his worries. They had persuaded him that “everything would be OK,” he claimed.
“It was extremely inspiring to see them support, encourage, and aid one another in ways that I think also caught them off guard.”
Levy took part in the selection procedure for The Big Brunch as well. He wanted the players to talk about their culinary backgrounds with the audience. In contrast to the traditional format of such competitions, competitors in the culinary program will collaborate rather than compete against one another.
