When two actors portrayed neurotically appealing parts, audiences saw double (Cera in the 2007 movie Juno and Eisenberg in the 2009 movies Adventureland and Zombieland).
Eisenberg and Cera still need to be made clear to one another even though their professions have subsequently diverged.

Michael Cera and Jesse Eisenberg are not related to one another.
Jesse Eisenberg has voiced his annoyance and fatigue with being mistaken for actor Michael Cera. Eisenberg added that although he hates being mistaken for other people, he often has people mistake him for Michael.
A website claims that the actor usually plays geeky underdog roles in movies, much like the “Superbad” star.
However, the “Social Network” actor is glad that his more devoted fan base can easily identify him. Eisenberg and Cera still need to be made clear to one another even though their professions have subsequently diverged.
Are Michael Cera and Jesse Eisenberg at odds with one another?
In entertainment tales, the two performers have often been placed against one another. Due to his reputation for being tough, Eisenberg is dangerously near to receiving bad publicity, whereas Cera seems to have preserved a decent media image.
Cera presented himself as humble, likable, and dedicated to his profession in a recent New York Times interview.
According to author David Carr, Cera is hilarious in a low-key style akin to his coming-of-age characters and is quietly confident, which doesn’t come over on film. Even though the Canadian actor was mugged while shooting Crystal Fairy in Chile, he shrugged it off.
Eisenberg, on the other hand, received flak for how he treated Univision/ABC reporter Romina Puga last month. In the now-famous interview, Eisenberg strikes a startlingly similar tone to the conceited and irritatingly perceptive persona he played in The Social Network.
Zombieland with Michael Cera: Double Tap
Michael Cera reportedly turned down the role of Jesse Eisenberg’s duplicate in Zombieland: duplicate Tap.
In the film, Luke Wilson portrays Woody Harrelson, while Thomas Middleditch plays Eisenberg’s clone. Ruben Fleischer, the film’s director, had initially preferred Michael Cera for the cameo.
Fleischer said that Michael Cera was essentially the initial candidate for the part in a recent interview with Den Of Geek. He said that’s because Jesse and Michael make mistakes all the time. The director continued by praising the actor’s comedic and improv skills.
The filmmaker followed by partially applauding and calling Middleditch’s performance “perfect.” Eisenberg told Jimmy Fallon that due to the popularity of the first film, they rushed to produce the sequel while waiting for the greatest screenplay.
