Iggy Azalea Says ‘Karma’s Real’ Following the Arrest of Ex-Playboy Carti for Alleged Assault

In tweets she shared after he was accused of abusing his pregnant girlfriend, Iggy Azalea appeared to imply the rapper ‘rarely visits’ their two-year-old kid and attempts to ‘escape from his troubles.’

Iggy Azalea, 32, appeared to react to her ex Playboi Carti’s arrest for alleged violence on Valentine’s Day via a series of tweets.

On her Twitter page, the Australian rapper, who shares a 2-year-old son with Carti, appeared to make reference to when the 26-year-old was accused of beating his pregnant girlfriend in December, which led to his detention and even spoke of “serial abuse.”

Iggy’s initial tweet said,

“Imagine having a pregnant girlfriend and pretending they don’t exist till it comes out you abuse them too – & seldom visiting your actual son unless it’s because you’re hiding from whatever troubles you have in Atlanta & the press with your serial abuse of women.”

She sent a second tweet that discussed karma after the initial one. “Anyway. I’m having a truly fantastic day! karmas real! Treat those you love with respect! She wished Valentine’s Day greetings.

According to Fulton County Jail records, Carti was booked into the Fulton County Jail on December 29 and charged with aggravated assault and delaying persons from making emergency telephone calls.

In the comments of Iggy’s tweets, numerous fans expressed disbelief at his bail release on December 30. “I’m a major Carti fan, but I’m astonished and disgusted by his actions. “You cannot support such an argument,” said one of the comments.

Iggy and Carti began dating after meeting in 2018. In October of the same year, she announced on her Instagram story that she would be “raising my son alone and I’m not in a relationship”.

They welcomed Onyx in private in 2020, but by October of that year, she had confirmed their split and stated she would be “raising my son alone and I’m not in a relationship.”

A source informed us that six months after the separation, Iggy had “never been happier” being single and raising her baby. “Iggy has never been happier; becoming a mother has given her a profound feeling of fulfillment,” a source said EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.

“Iggy is interested in dating, but only the right person. She has no patience for nonsense. Men are vying for her attention, but it’s a matter of finding the right one.

She does not feel the need to have a partner. Her life is rich and fulfilling. However, if the appropriate man were to appear, she would be open to the idea.”
