Nia Long recently made a statement regarding her boyfriend Ime Udoka’s purported affair with a female coworker. The actress said to People following Udoka’s dismissal as the Boston Celtics’ head coach:
“The outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and the community means so much to me during this horrible time.”
She also indicated that she would continue to focus on her children and asked for privacy during the challenging times:
“While I process the recent events, I humbly request that my privacy be respected.” I am first and foremost a mother who will always put her kids first.
Nia Long and Ime Udoka have been married since 2015 and have two kids together. She and Udoka welcomed their baby, Kez, in 2011. With her former partner, actor Massai Dorsey, she also shares a son named Massai Dorsey II.
Only two weeks after Udoka moved to Boston with Long and their child did the word of the scandal surrounding his infidelity become public. It appears that the couple was hunting for a house in the city.
The Celtics coach was informed of his team’s internal investigation into his romance in July 2022, claims TMZ. Long, on the other hand, seems to have learned about the incident only before it became widely known.

Prior to getting engaged to Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka, Nia Long was in a relationship with actor Massai Dorsey.
They first connected while filming her NBC detective series Third Watch, and they quickly started dating. Massai Dorsey II, Long’s first child with Dorsey, was born on November 26, 2000.
The couple parted after the birth of their kid despite being engaged at the time. Massai Dorsey II is currently 21 years old. According to Hollywood Life, the kid chose to play collegiate baseball for Eastern Kentucky University rather than follow in his parent’s footsteps.
Long made her relationship with Ime Udoka public in 2010. Kez Sunday Udoka, their first child, was born in 2011, and the couple was engaged in 2015.
After Kez was born, the couple issued a formal statement in which they expressed their “thrill” at the arrival of the new member of their family:

He went on:
