Paul Stanley Schmidt, a loving father, was brutally murdered in front of his three-year-old daughter after telling a guy not to vape near her. On Sunday, 37-year-old Canadian Paul and his daughter Erica were waiting for his fiancée to purchase beverages outside Starbucks in Vancouver around 5:30 p.m.Paul politely asked his murderer to quit vaping, but a spectator captured the suspect stabbing Paul in the stomach with a knife.
The father fell to the ground in anguish in a pool of blood during the brutal attacks. The murder of Paul has left his family and friends grieving and affecting their mental and emotional health.
After Paul’s death, Kathy Schmidt said she doesn’t think he was murdered to protect his daughter’s health. The Vancouver Sun quoted her: “What occurred is so wrong. He just wants to protect his daughter. Sad and furious.”

Inderdeep Singh Gosal Arrested for Murder
According to a news statement, Inderdeep Singh Gosal was convicted of second-degree murder for killing Paul Stanley Schmidt on a Vancouver coffee shop sidewalk. The two males, who seemed to be strangers, allegedly fought briefly before the tragic attack on Sunday evening.
Paul’s mother wants first-degree murder, but the prosecution must prove the stabbing was intentional. The devastated mother said, “He carried a knife. I never bring a knife to coffee shops. Have you? Kathy was devastated when she saw the tape since no one in the neighborhood or coffee shop saved her kid.
The devastated mother said, “I was extremely shocked that neither Starbucks nor anyone outside called for assistance. Only after he was in horrible condition did someone flag down an officer on the street.
What sort of society do we live in if you are assaulted and murdered while taking your family to Starbucks in the middle of the day while a huge crowd films and watches?” A patrolling officer was told of the incident at 5.40 pm following a “brief altercation.”
