Madison was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 29, 1999. After being adopted by her foster parents Mary Katherine Bailey and Alex Bailey, she relocated to Kernersville, North Carolina. Twelve years after welcoming their son into the world,
Mary and Alex started caring for foster children. Madison was the youngest of seven children who were raised by them. Sadly, Mary Katherine’s 45-year marriage to Alex came to an end with her passing in 2018. Madison claims that the North Carolina-based television program Outer Banks has many similarities to her area.

“I’m from a tiny town, and I found it fascinating. The class gap between the Pogues and the Kooks is a topic that is discussed on the show. You know exactly who they’re talking about even though they don’t go by the names Pogues and Kooks. You don’t see [the North Carolina version of] that often, so that’s why I liked it. I felt a complete connection to it and as though I knew every single person.
Madison and her Outer Banks character have several things in common
Madison read the show’s screenplay and fell in love with Kiara’s character. She enjoyed the fact that she liked to hang out with men and that Kiara had a strong personality. Madison was sick of acting out the part of the diva cheerleading girl all the time. She went on:
“I feel like I sometimes play myself; think I’m really similar to Kiara. I would describe myself as both a fighter and a lover, just like Kiara does.
Madison and Kiara were different in that Kiara didn’t have Madison’s interest in makeup. By the time the filming was over, Madison had become fond of her inherent attractiveness. She started to PopSugar:
“Kiara wouldn’t likely use cosmetics, in my opinion. I enjoy wearing makeup. I assemble cosmetics. In comparison to before the show, I use a lot less makeup. That has definitely altered my perspective on makeup. As opposed to a full face, I prefer a natural, glowing appearance. I felt more at ease in my own skin as a result. I feel naturally more attractive than I ever have.
She connected with her Outer Banks castmates right away
Although the main characters in Outer Banks have complicated relationships, they are the closest friends in real life. Most of Madison’s co-stars were people she had never met, but she clicked with them right away. As she stated to L’Officiel:
“Off-camera, we hung together every single day… I was with them constantly. On the weekends, we would hang out and go to parties or hang out by the pool. I developed some genuinely good friendships. At the start of filming, Rudy [Pankow] and Chase [Stokes] moved in together right away. For a month, [Madelyn] Cline had moved in with me. Everything was really immediate.
Madison is now using WhatsApp or FaceTime to communicate with her co-stars. While the majority of her friends are confined in Los Angeles, she is living in North Carolina. Kiara, played by Bailey, and Pope, played by Jonathan Daviss, have a tumultuous relationship. However, the relationship does not exist in reality.
Madison and Jonathan are only close friends. According to what we know, Madison is currently unmarried.
