Cricket fans have been interested in learning more about Joshua Little’s sister since the IPL season began. Irish cricketer Joshua Brian Little was born on November 1st, 1999.
He became the first Irish player to secure a contract with the Indian Premier League when Gujarat Titans purchased him in an auction before to the 2023 campaign.

Hannah Little, Joshua Little’s middle child, is his sister. She plays cricket and is a member of the Ireland and Scorchers teams. In order to be ready for the Netherlands Women’s Quadrangular Series, she was chosen for the Irish Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) squad in August 2019.
She participated in Ireland’s first WT20I match against the Netherlands on August 8, 2019. In July 2020, Cricket Ireland offered her a non-retainer deal for the next season.
Joshua Lousie, Joshua’s younger sister, plays cricket for both the Typhoons and Ireland. She competed in her debut Women’s One Day International (WODI) game against South Africa on May 11, 2017, as part of the South Africa Quadrangular Series.
In May 2019 in preparation for their series against the West Indies, she was chosen for Ireland’s Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) squad. She participated in Ireland’s first World Twenty20 match against the West Indies on May 26, 2019.
The younger sister of Joshua Little, Louise, was chosen for the Irish side to play in the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 qualification in Scotland in August 2019. In July 2020, Louise signed a non-retainer deal with Cricket Ireland for the next season.
She was chosen to represent Ireland in the November 2021 match in Zimbabwe for the Women’s Cricket World Cup.

Joshua has up to now kept their parents’ identities a secret, along with their siblings. However, we are aware that their parents are both citizens of Ireland.
His parents have always encouraged them to pursue cricket as their primary vocation and supported their endeavors.
Little was first chosen for Ireland’s 20-over squad for their series against Afghanistan in India in March 2017. However, he had to leave due of his academic obligations. In December 2017, he was selected to play for Ireland in the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Little was chosen for Ireland’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup squad in 2016. In January 2019, Little was chosen for Ireland’s T20I squad for the Oman Quadrangular Series.
In February 2021, for their journey to Bangladesh, he just joined the Ireland Wolves squad. Additionally, he was chosen for Ireland’s preliminary T20 World Cup squad in 2021.
The IP L’s Joshua Little
Josh Little, a left-arm bowler, was bought by the defending champion Gujarat Titans on Friday at the Kochi 2023 IPL mini-auction for INR 4.4 crore. Little’s base price of INR 50 lakh resulted in a contract that was 8.8 times more expensive than his first proposal.
Little therefore becomes the first Irish player to sign an IPL contract. Little, 23, made his international debut for Ireland in a game in 2016. Since then, he has played in two ODIs and 53 T20Is.
Little and the IPL 2023 organizer were advised by Cricket Ireland that a No Objection Certificate (NOC), permitting Little to play the whole season, would be given soon after Little was chosen by Gujarat Titans.
He is ecstatic to have signed with the defending champion Gujarat Titans and is looking forward to playing under Hardik Pandya.
