Irene Cara’s death has been announced on behalf of her family, and I do so with deep grief. At her Florida home, the Academy Award-winning actress, singer, composer, and producer passed away. Details about her death, which are currently unknown, will be released as soon as they are available.
To give Cara’s family some space while they cope with their loss, the publicist also requested privacy. They added that the musician’s funeral plans are still being finalized and declared that a fan memorial would be organized soon:
