A woman from Chenango County is accused of stealing more than $155,000 from her employer over a five-year period. Deputies from the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a Town of New Berlin citizen on Tuesday in connection with an embezzlement investigation at a Town of Columbus company, according to Sheriff Ernest Cutting.
Deputies arrested Amy L. Grant of New Berlin after investigating the Golden Artist Colors theft. Among other distinctions, the Chenango County Chamber of Commerce and the Council of the Arts honoured the organization with the 1991 Business Arts Award.
