However, when a paternity test was requested by AD Bird’s counsel, Corrie was already a toddler when the test results revealed she was, in fact, Larry’s child. She hadn’t spent much time with her father.
However, Larry had a relationship with Dinah and had long since shunned his daughter’s life. The former power player later admitted that he still regrets leaving his daughter behind. Through the years, Dinah had pushed him to get in touch with Corrie and try to build a relationship with her.
Janet wed Mike Deakins after divorcing the former NBA player. Corrie kept in touch with her mother Janet and stepfather Deakins after graduating from high school.
