According to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny, Hadasa Karavanibozak, 48, is charged with hate crime assault, reckless endangerment, and harassment in connection with the November 7 incident at Edmonds Playground on DeKalb Avenue in Fort Greene.
Tuesday, according to police, a woman accused of splashing hot coffee at a police officer and a father and infant at a Brooklyn playground donning a Palestinian scarf both surrendered to authorities.

When Prashar produced a video of the incident on his phone, the woman misplaced it. The father, having picked up his son, ran in their direction as she hurled a cup of hot coffee and her phone at them.
Thankfully, Prashar and his son ascended from this unsettling encounter unscathed.
