Ethnicity of Jim Lee’s Family

Jim Lee was born in South Korea on August 11, 1964. The 58-year-old artist grew up in a regular middle-class home in St. Louis, Missouri. After attending Chesterfield’s River Bend Elementary School, where he designed play posters, the Korean-American artist attended St. Louis Country Day School. Because he had to study English when he came in the United States, the young Lee felt like an outcast.

His parents once bought him comic novels. Knowing figures like Spider-Man and Superman, according to Lee, aided him by elevating his spirit and assisting him as an artist. Despite his passion in comic books, Lee followed in his father’s footsteps and enrolled at Princeton University to study psychology in order to become a doctor.

Jim Lee Salary

Jim Lee, a Korean American comic book artist, has a net worth of $10 million. The Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics makes most of his money from his work in the comic book business. In 1986, as he prepared to graduate with a degree in psychology, Jimm enrolled in an art class to rekindle his passion of painting.

He chose not to go to medical school immediately after getting his psychology degree, and he secured his parents’ grudging support by allowing himself a year to succeed. If he didn’t break into the comic book business that year, Jim swore to go to medical school.
