Dalen Cuff is not Kelsey Riggs’ spouse; she is single. On the other hand, the two ESPN reporters recently informed their Instagram followers of some great news.
The ESPN personality Riggs, who joined the company in 2019, revealed that she and Cuff were engaged and that Baby Cuff was due this summer. Before joining ESPN, Riggs, a graduate of Charleston Southern University, worked for WCNC-TV for three years.
Additionally, Kelsey frequently fills in as an anchor for SportsCenter, ESPN’s flagship news and information program. The soccer team at Charleston also awarded Riggs a scholarship. At the end of 2023, the two reporters announced their relationship to the world, and they now intend to start a small family.

Although the exact date of the two’s relationship is unknown, Dalen was featured in Kelsey’s first post on his birthday in November of last year. Pictures of her with the ESPN reporter were uploaded by her. “Never would have dreamed, now I can’t see anything else,” was her caption on the picture. DC, happy birthday. Who is Dalen Cuff?
Cuff is a studio and in-game college basketball commentator for ESPN. He began working for the sports programming network in 2016 and contributed to ACCN’s founding in 2019. Cuff, a former collegiate basketball player, captained Columbia University’s men’s basketball team.
In terms of games played, career three-point field goals made, and three-point percentage in a single season, Cuff owns records at Columbia. Following graduation, Cuff started working for InterPublic Group in marketing. He later accepted Columbia’s invitation to serve as the men’s basketball game color commentator.
After working in marketing for five years, Cuff wanted to change occupations. Aimee Leone is his manager at the IMG agency, where he joined. Cuff had previously worked for NBC for twenty years, and Aimee was able to get her hired there. Dalen started out on the NBCSN Ivy League before going on to work for the network’s Boston regional station.
Cuff learned Portuguese while working as an NBC Olympic reporter in Rio de Janeiro. Cuff hosts shows on the ACC Network and occasionally covers soccer matches for ESPN. Before becoming engaged to Kelsey, Dalen was married and had a daughter from a prior relationship. He shares pictures of his daughter Lyra on Instagram, one from last year’s celebration of her fifth birthday.
Kelsey Riggs Announces Her Pregnancy
On February 8, 2024, Kelsey Riggs revealed her pregnancy on Instagram. The ESPN reporter shared pictures of Dalen Cuff, her fiancé. Choosing a seaside location for their engagement and pregnancy photos, Riggs and Cuff also took use of the occasion to announce their engagement.
Riggs wrote in the image’s caption,
“Being a mother is something I’ve always known I wanted to do. Sharing life’s greatest gift with the person I am lucky enough to know I will love and be loved by forever has always been my only goal in life.
She continued,
It’s what I’ve been waiting for my entire life, yet it doesn’t seem like it’s started yet. I adore you, DC, and I can’t wait to be with you forever.
In addition to her pregnancy announcement, Kelsey sent out prayers and well wishes to those who are anticipating this stage of life. She continued,
“The benefits that lie ahead will genuinely surpass all the difficulties and questions that come with waiting.”
