Rudy Giuliani’s Family History

Rudy Giuliani was born to an Italian-American family on May 28, 1944, in East Flatbush, New York City.

In Brooklyn, Giuliani was raised in an Italian-American neighborhood. He is Helen and Harold Angelo Giuliani’s lone child.

Both of his parents, who were working-class children of Italian immigrants, were born.

His paternal grandparents, Evangelina Rodolfo Giuliani, moved to America after being born in Montecatini Terme, Tuscany, Italy.

Harold Giuliani, Rudy’s father, was a plumber who had been found guilty of robbery and criminal assault.

Harold served as an enforcer for Leo D’Avanzo, his brother-in-law, who managed an organized crime affiliation at a Brooklyn restaurant, upon his release from jail.

After Harold’s death from prostate cancer in 1981, the family continued to reside in East Flatbush. Helen afterward relocated to Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where she lived until her death in 2002.

Three marriages have been to Rudy Giuliani. He was wed to Judith Nathan, Donna Hanover, and Regina Peruggi.

On October 26, 1968, Giuliani wed Regina Peruggi, a woman he had known since he was a little boy.

They split in 1975 and divorced in 1982, therefore their relationship did not survive for very long.

In 1982, Rudy started dating Donna Hanover, a local television personality. On April 15, 1984, the couple exchanged vows in a Catholic ceremony at Manhattan’s St. Monica’s Church.

Giuliani and Hanover are the parents of Andrew and Caroline Rose. Andrew is a golfer and political pundit.

Giuliani and Hanover divorced in 2002, and as a consequence, Giuliani gave Hanover custody of the kids and paid her $6.8 million.

Judith Nathan, a sales manager at Club Macanudo, was Rudy’s third wife. The union took place on May 24, 2003.

However, on April 4, 2018, the couple filed for divorce after fifteen years of marriage.
