There were concerns raised when Sandra Sully, a seasoned Ten newscaster, was seen on television with her hand heavily bandaged.
On Monday night, the well-known journalist read the 5 p.m. headlines for 10 News First while sporting bandages on two of her left-hand fingers.
Sully, one of Australia’s most well-known TV personalities, had surgery following an injury he sustained a week prior, according to Network 10.
During the broadcast, newsreader Sandra Sully’s bandaged hand was seen. Right now, she’s recuperating rather nicely.
Sandra broke the story of the September 11 terrorist attacks, which are commemorated today on their 22nd anniversary, when she first joined the Ten News staff in 1990.

Sandra thought back to one of her worst live TV moments from earlier this year.
The seasoned broadcaster acknowledged on the I’ve Got News For You podcast that she had struggled to wrap up a story about a kangaroo that was “playing with his testicles.”

A kangaroo horde was present on the golf course during a competition in [the story]. It was necessary to stop this kangaroo from playing with his testicles.
Sandra claimed that because she wasn’t expecting it, she was unable to finish her newscast.
The worldwide coverage was enhanced with music by the crew. I was taken aback by that, and I was hardly able to complete the message. It was at 11:30 p.m., she claimed.
Sandra Sully’s Private Life
Sully was the apparent target of a stalker in November 1997. She was hit with two pistol-whipped strikes in her home’s parking lot after leaving a late shift at Ten.
At a late-2006 awards ceremony, she revealed to the crowd that she had employed “a couple of security guards” in response to the episode.
Sully became her stepmother and adopted her husband’s child after they were married in 2011.
Sully presents Sydney’s 10 News First for 2018. Before taking over Ten’s main Sydney 5:00 pm weekday bulletin, Sully started off as Ten Eyewitness News Brisbane’s host back in the 1990s.
