The man suspected of stabbing comedian Dave Chappelle onstage at the Hollywood Bowl has reportedly been charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his roommate at a transitional living facility in December, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
Isaiah Lee, who pleaded not guilty to the felony allegation, is due back in court on June 2.
According to the prosecution, Lee was recognized and captured in the original attack in part because of the attention that followed the Chappelle incident.
