Yes, 33, was taken into custody on a murder charge about the killing of rapper Takeoff on Friday.

Police in Houston characterized Takeoff, who was shot outside a bowling alley, as an “innocent bystander.”

Houston Police Chief Troy Finner reported that Patrick Xavier Clark was taken into custody calmly on Thursday night.

One day after another guy was charged with the gunshot on November 1 that left two other individuals injured due to an argument over a dice game, Clark was apprehended.

In anticipation of a bail hearing, he was detained on Friday. He was detained, according to court documents, as he was about to depart the nation for Mexico, but he has no legal representation.

Police Sgt. Michael Burrow said during a press conference on Friday that arguments over a “lucrative” dice game were to blame for the shooting. Takeoff was not a Party to the event, but rather an “innocent bystander”.

Police are uncertain as to whether Clark was invited to the Party or whether he knew Takeoff, according to Finner.
