She then started her scholastic career by enrolling in the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw’s Puppetry Department.

When Izabela played “Ziarenko” in Piotr Tomaszuk and Tadeusz Słobodzianek’s production of “Turlajgroszek,” she made her stage debut. They performed this play on TV as well as at the Gdańsk Puppet and Actor Theatre Miniatura. Dabrowska graced several stages during her career.

These include the well-known Lalka Theatre in Warsaw (1989–1990), the Dramatyczny Theatre in Warsaw (1995), the Gdańsk Puppet and Actor Theatre Miniatura (1990–1991), and the Na Woli Theatre in Warsaw (1999). Her creative partnership began in 2005 and included the Warsaw Drama Laboratory and Montownia Theatre.

Izabela Dabrowska received prestigious awards in recognition of her abilities and contributions. Her most notable honor was an acting distinction she received at the 51st Kalisz Theatre Encounters in 2011. Her performance as Zocha in the 2009 production of Tadeusz Słobodzianek’s “Nasza klasa,” which was directed by Ondrej Spišák and held in 2010 at the Tadeusz Łomnicki Na Wola Theatre in Warsaw, was given credit for this recognition.
