He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on February 20, 1989, and attended a Catholic school. After enrolling at Huron High School, he developed an interest in performing.
Jack earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and has performed in a number of productions, such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Love’s Labour’s Lost, and Company.
The 29-year-old actor made his film debut in 2012 as a guest star in the online comedy series Submissions Only. His first starring role was in Sunburn, a well-known short film.
In 2013, Jack made his television debut on The CW’s comedy-drama series The Carrie Diaries. In 2014, he co-starred alongside Nicolas Cage and Aubrey Peeples in the action-thriller Rage.
Among the films in which he has appeared are Escape from Polygamy, Hunter, Slider, and Lily & Kat. In February 2014, Jack was cast as a regular on the ABC courtroom drama How to Get Away with Murder, starring Aja Naomi, Alfred Enoch, Karla Souza, and Matt McGorry.
His other well-known television production is the PBS historical drama Mercy Street, which premiered in January 2016.
