Jackson Anthony’s cause of death has been connected to an accident. Everyone was shocked to learn that the well-known Sri Lankan actor had apparently been in a vehicle accident on July 2, 2022.
Anthony, his younger brother Saman Anthony, and a friend were involved in a car accident at Thalawa that left them hospitalized in Anuradhapura.
The incident occurred when he was returning in his own car after filming the Dr. Somaratne Dissanayake-directed film Singhabahu.
Following the incident, Anthony was brought to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital the same day and then, on July 3, to the Colombo National Hospital’s Emergency Department in the morning.
Although everyone was wishing for a rapid recovery while the well-known personality in Sri Lankan entertainment received treatment, he tragically died on October 9, 2023.
