Jake Day was riding his bicycle in Heckmondwike when he was hit by a blue Mini Cooper sedan. According to a statement released by Jake’s previous school, the Co-op Academy, Jake, unfortunately, lost away over the weekend despite fighting for his life in the hospital.
On February 23 at 1:25 PM, something happened. At the crossroads of Leeds Road and Muffit Lane in Heckmondwike, a blue Mini Cooper saloon is said to have run over a little kid. The boy was rushed to the hospital by emergency workers after suffering serious head injuries, but he did not make it.
Jake’s family is struggling as a result of their child’s tragic death, thus sadly not much information regarding the case has been made public as of the time this piece was published.
