Ada Violet, the couple’s first child, is due in October 2021, and James Bay and Lucy Smith recently got married. When she revealed the information, Bay posted a few pictures from the wedding.
The first was a black-and-white image showing Smith and Bay walking side by side as confetti fell from the sky, and Smith appeared to be shouting with joy. In the second image, the couple can be seen looking at each other against a background of sparse trees and dim summer light.

James Bay published his first EP, The Dark of the Morning, in July 2013. His second EP, Let It Go, was then made available in May 2014. James released his debut studio album, Chaos and the Calm, in December 2014, and his song, Hold Back the River, was rising in the UK charts at the time. His fourth EP, Other Sides, was released in January 2015, and he also recorded renditions of Hey Bulldog and King’s Highway.
The album of the 31-year-old artist, titled Electric Light, was published in May 2018, and its songs became top hits right away. His third EP, Oh My Messy Mind, was released in May 2019, and in the spring of 2020, he started work on his third full album.
