James Corden, an English actor, was temporarily denied access to the renowned Balthazar restaurant in New York before Ryanair banned him.

The company, known for its humorous social media updates, tweeted about the restriction and a photo of Corden with a red “cancel” circle around his face.
Given that James Corden’s treatment of restaurant servers has been trending on Twitter, the airline may be using the restriction as a way to cash in on the trend. This led to a plethora of humorous memes being created online, and some people even praised the ban. Similar responses came from other brands as well.
Due to his rude behavior toward the staff and servers, Keith McNally, the restaurant’s owner, banned the British comedian. Finally, after Corden expressed his true remorse, McNally lifted the punishment. However, the internet strongly supported the ban, claiming that Corden was a “nightmare” who deserved it.
Soon after, further rumors about the host of The Late Late Show’s interactions with others surfaced. One such story that reappeared involved James Corden, a woman, and a baby.
On a flight from London to New York, passengers claimed to have seen the Cats actor seated close to a woman holding a baby. To their amazement, Corden did not object to the child or show any signs of anxiety.
He sat still and put on his headphones. When the plane landed, Corden stayed seated and watched as the woman struggled with her luggage from the overhead bin. The woman then said to Corden:
For the love of god, could you hold the child while I bring the suitcases down?
The woman was his wife, and the child belonged to him. Whether or whether the story is true, it does not negate other reports of his unfavorable behavior. Because these stories seem to correspond with other observable activities, the majority of people believe them.
Despite not being gay, Corden has received criticism for playing a variety of LGBT characters. He is accused of using homophobic stereotypes and caricatures. He is also despised because the internet views his anti-union stance as elitist.
Corden, who as of November 2022 had a net worth of about $70 million, is unlikely to take a flight on a budget airline like Ryanair.
The Irish-owned company, however, is renowned for making fun of current events and maybe joking about the ban. They have previously cracked jokes on Boris Johnson’s Paygate scandal, Eric Trump’s use of a private jet, and Leonardo DiCaprio’s past relationships.
Whether the airline was sincere or not, it caused other businesses—including those unrelated to James Corden—to implement the same limitations. Riot Fest, the Nebraska Humane Society, and even Ba Sing Se (an imagined city from the Avatar anime series) joined the protest.
He was even forbidden by one user from going into “the general Yorkshire region.” There have also been further tweets on the situation, which have given rise to memes and jokes. No Ryanair representative has offered an opinion on the matter as of this writing. The comedian has not yet offered a response to what happened.
