James Benjamin Heltibridle, better known by his stage as James Heltibridle, was a late filmmaker and designer with extensive backstage expertise in numerous other disciplines. The director was born in the United States on November 29, 1988. Robert Heltibridle was his father and Barbara Heltibridle was his mother. Robert Heltibridle III was the name of his brother as well.
In terms of nationality, James was of Caucasian ancestry and was an American.
In 2009, he enrolled at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts to study film production. In 2013, he graduated from the school with a concentration in art direction and production design.

Sadly, on November 10, 2016, the rising filmmaker passed away in a horrific car accident. The tragic news was initially announced on the Michael Jaegers Officially Undead Fan Site Facebook group, which posted the following message:
“May James Heltibridle, a member of our cinematic industry family and one of The Walking Dead’s unsung heroes, rest in peace. James was a Props Department employee who died in a car accident yesterday night.
Heltibridle’s former school, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, posted on Facebook a few days following his tragic passing.
The family of #UNCSAlumni lost one of its own last week. James Heltibridle (Film ’15) died in a vehicle accident subsequent to his departure from The Walking Dead’s set. The aforementioned statement states that the event occurred when Heltibridle was returning from watching The Walking Dead. The episode title card served as another way for the show to pay tribute to him. He was only 28 years old when he passed away.
