When the 43-year-old Jamie Clayton and Matrix actor Keanu Reeves were filmed out on a date in the middle of 2015, dating rumors had already started to circulate online.
Before Reeves jumped into her car, Clayton was seen on camera secretly kissing him close to his motorcycle. Additionally, a witness reported that on July 16, 2015, the two of them went on a date at the Chateau Marmont.
Reeves attempted to kiss her while also encircling her from behind. But whether they had a fling or not has never been confirmed by Clayton and Reeves. Previously, the two collaborated on the drama Generation Um.
Reeves previously had a relationship with Jennifer Syme, which lasted between 1999 and 2000. They were then expecting a child.
Ava Archer Syme-Reeves, a premature baby who was born to Syme and died at the age of eight months, was sadly stillborn. In 2001, just a few months after the tragic event, Syme was tragically killed in an accident.

Jamie Clayton Gets Married At The End Of The TV Series “Sense8,” Finding Acceptance
The fictitious drama series Sense8 on Netflix follows eight people around the world who have similar physical and mental sensitivities. Among these eight strangers is Jamie Clayton’s Nomi Marks, a transgender hacker from San Francisco, California.
Playing a part that fits oneself and expresses one’s sentiments directly is a treat, and Jamie clearly appreciates her role as she expressed her enjoyment of working on the TV show by saying,
“The biggest challenge for me was to play a transgender character in a story where her gender identity had no bearing on the plot. With their fantastic storyline, they have advanced past that.Understanding someone’s identity does not include attaching a label to their work title based on their gender or race “and continued by saying,”
“The term “trans actress” is being used as a disclaimer. Similar to stating “black actress, “You no longer say that.”Award-winning should be the sole word preceding ‘actress.'”
The LGBTQ audience is well-represented in the program. The series seeks to illustrate that they are the same as everyone else and tries to portray them as typical humans living peacefully in society rather than contrasting them with ordinary people or casting them in a different light.
Clayton expressed her viewpoint on how the show centers its cast on LGBTQ people, saying,
“The focus of the narrative is not transition, which, in my opinion, is a crucial step to take with trans characters. Since trans individuals really exist in the real world, I’m happy that more shows are embracing the notion that they can just coexist there. It’s wonderful that more authors with transgender identities are emerging. They have the experience of simply existing, which is where our existence derives from.”
Members of diverse sexual orientations, as well as individuals from various ethnicities and ancestries, are all represented on the show. It is astounding how diverse the movie may be considering the locations where the scenes were filmed.
By doing this, the show gives viewers a great chance to witness a variety of sights and gives the cast a chance to go to far-off locations. When asked what her favorite part of filming the show was, Clayton, who values the opportunity greatly, responded,
“Simply participating in it, end of the story. Although I’ve always wanted to travel, I’ve never been able to. Now that I’m working as an actor, I also get to go to all of these incredible locations, which has given me the opportunity to travel for other projects. traveling and experiencing these diverse cultures firsthand and getting to know the locals. smelling and tasting the scents and flavors. It’s very amazing.”
The final episode of the Sense8 television series aired on June 8, 2018. In the two-and-a-half-hour series finale, Jamie’s character wed her longtime love interest Amanita (Freema Agyeman).
She had already finished watching Sense 8 on Netflix. Jamie Clayton appeared dissatisfied with how transgender actresses are given the role of representation, despite the fact that she has already achieved success in the entertainment sector.
She asserts that trans performers were only ever given the opportunity to apply for trans parts. Additionally, she mentioned how transgender actress is not accepted in the field.
She explained:
“Trans actors are never even given the opportunity to try out for jobs that don’t feature trans characters. The underlying problem is that. Even entering the room is impossible. Use trans actors to play non-trans characters. You are dared.”
She and another transgender actress, Tyle Lysette, were disappointed to find that Scarlett Johansson, a cisgender actress, had been cast in a transgender part for the film Rub & Tug.
Additionally, Scarlett has received criticism from the two transgender actors since the casting news broke. On July 3, 2018, Tyle also posted on Twitter to denounce Hollywood for taking their roles and casting cisgender actors in their place.
She also told the other cisgender actors that while they could impersonate transgender performers, they couldn’t actually play them.
She vented her annoyance:
“Oh my God! So, even though we can’t play you, you can still play us? Hollywood is in such a mess…\ I wouldn’t be as unhappy if I were competing for cis roles in the same rooms as Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lawrence, but we all know that’s not the case. A mess.”
The biography Rub & Tug is about a transgender guy, and the transgender actress felt that Hollywood was being prejudiced by using cisgender actors in transgender roles.
