The celebrity, who won Strictly in 2015, told the BBC that he had enjoyed recognizing audience members who were family and friends.
He stated:
“I appreciate that all of my family members and friends may attend the performance. A party of about 70 family friends visited me, and they were really pleased.
“They enjoyed themselves immensely despite having a little too much to drink.
“Being able to work on something that makes you happy all the time is such a comfort.
It’s a really funny show with those back-and-forth old Hollywood jokes.
He claimed that while performing on his home ground, he had the opportunity to catch up with his family.
Added him:
“I enjoy taking the bus back home to visit my mother.
“Every morning, my young nephews run around asking me, ‘Are you going to sing today?'”
