Because of the distant location, his friends had to use their cellphones to direct the authorities to their locations between McTucker Ponds and American Falls Reservoir. Bingham County Search and Rescue worked with sheriff’s deputies, scuba divers, and rescue boats. They searched for Jayden until Wednesday night, then resumed their search at 8 a.m. Thursday until dusk, aided by a helicopter flying overhead. Despite the snow on Friday, searchers continued to look for the missing adolescent.
