Waddle won the SEC Freshman of the Year award in 2018 while a true freshman at Alabama after compiling 45 catches for 848 yards and seven touchdowns.
In addition, he was a punt returner who returned 16 punts for 233 yards and a touchdown. In 2019, Waddle returned to the Crimson Tide for his second season.
