Jean was only a year and a half older than her brother. Her sibling was born with a disease that caused excess fluid to build up in his brain, putting pressure on it. This is a congenital condition known as ‘Hydrocephalus.’ Growing up, he had a variety of physical, intellectual, and developmental problems.
